Frank van den Heuvel new Director of NZO

The Board of the Dutch Dairy Association (NZO) has appointed Frank van den Heuvel Director as from 1 June 2022. Van den Heuvel (56) is an independent consultant in Public Affairs and Governance.

In this capacity, he acted in the interests of various companies and organisations during the past years. He also held several supervisory positions. At this moment, he is a member of the Supervisory Board of the agricultural cooperative Vitelia and of Slibverwerking Noord-Brabant. Additionally, he regularly publishes articles about socio-political issues, governance and supervision.

Hein Schumacher, Chairman of the Dutch Dairy Association, is pleased with the appointment of Van den Heuvel. “Frank is a highly experienced manager. I am convinced that with his knowledge and experience we will be able to further strengthen the representation of the Dutch dairy industry in the coming years.”

Van den Heuvel studied tax law at the University of Leiden. After his graduation, he held various positions at ING Bank, the Bank Nederlandse Gemeenten [the Dutch Municipal Bank] and Rabobank Netherlands. He also was Public Affairs Director of energy company Delta and of TNO, the Netherlands organisation for applied scientific research.
