Tjeerd de Groot leaves the Dutch Dairy Association

Tjeerd the Groot has withdrawn as director of the Dutch Dairy Association (NZO). He will accede to the Dutch Lower Chamber for the D66 political party.

The Board of the Dutch Dairy Association is grateful to him for the way in which he managed the Dutch Dairy Association in the past years. ‘Under his management, the dairy sector acquired a prominent position in the social debate about economics, nutrition and sustainability. The Dutch Dairy Association has been put on the map’, according to Roelof Joosten, Chairman of the Dutch Dairy Association.

The Board expects to provide a successor for De Groot in the short term. Oscar Meuffels, Manager Public Affairs, will act as director until that time.
