Albert de Groot appointed chairman of the Dutch Dairy Association

The Board of the Dutch Dairy Association (NZO) has appointed Albert de Groot chairman. He will succeed Hein Schumacher, who recently withdrew.

Albert de Groot is Chief Executive Officer of Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods and vice-chairman of the Board of the Dutch Dairy Association. He is also a member of the European Dairy Association, the umbrella organisation of the European dairy industry, on behalf Dutch Dairy Association. Besides, he is also a member of the Executive Board of VNO-NCW, the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers.

“I consider it to be an honour to become chairman of Dutch Dairy Association in these challenging times. Therefore, I am looking forward to further building a future-proof dairy sector together with the members”, says Albert de Groot.
