Perhaps the most famous Dutch woman in Germany: Frau Antje. She is a young, energetic Dutch “milkmaid” who promotes our dairy products there. The character was first conceived in the 1950s by the NZO’s predecessor, the Dutch Dairy Office.
Over the years, Frau Antje has become the symbol in Germany for Dutch cheese. She is the figurehead for the collective brands for Dutch cheese and butter: Frau Antje Pikantje (Gouda cheese ripened 4 months), Frau Antje Beste Butter, and the 6-week ripened, grass-fed cheese Mai Gouda.
At this moment Frau Antje is played by Floor Schothorst.
